Infiniti FX45 & Nissan Murano Winners at
CMA Awards
The 2003 CMA awards gala on Friday November 14 saw Nissan Canada
outshine contenders by receiving several awards of excellence.
The Infiniti FX45 campaign won first and second
place within the Integrated Multimedia and Automotive Products & Services categories
respectively. The Nissan Murano campaign was also recognized with
an award of merit within the Automotive Products & Services
category.
Both campaigns were created in partnership with TBWA/Toronto and
included a microsite, VIP night and direct email. The Murano launch
campaign also included an interactive CD-ROM, contest and test-drive
incentive.
The CD-ROM, which allowed consumers to virtually experience the
Murano proved to be a highly effective element of the Murano campaign.
The sophisticated piece incorporated Flash based technology with
narratives, music and picture galleries taking viewers on a virtual
ride. The 76,000 copies distributed culminated in an estimated
46% response rate.
