Join our workshop to learn how to communicate effectively online. Writing for the Web is different than writing for any other medium. Factors such as user experience, site architecture and content management systems must be considered as they greatly affect the readability of your messages.
If you write, edit, plan, design, or approve online content, this workshop is for you.
Full day workshop
The morning lecture will provide the theoretical framework of effective web writing by exploring optimal techniques and touring tailored examples of web sites, intranets and customer email approaches.

Validating that the new approach works
Lots of examples
The afternoon session will allow you to put these techniques into practice through hands-on exercises customized with your organization’s material. This material would be submitted by the participants ahead of time in order to prepare for the exercises.
Exercise 1: An exercise in editing
Exercise 2: Create a web site
Exercise 3: Compose a page
Exercise 4: Rewrite an email
A thorough review of each exercise in a group setting, led by the instructor will maximize effectiveness of learning.
Each participant receives a course booklet and certificate.
