As Canada's largest public
construction company, with divisions across the
country and worldwide projects, the need for communication
was critical.
A recent rebranding had
brought several distinct divisions under one banner
and there was a need to unify communications and
people.
Timely exchange of company
news, project results, and employee information
had outgrown traditional communication methods.
The vision was a central
source of information where all staff, from home
or work, had access.
To build this intranet
they needed a tool that allowed non-technical
staff to publish information in English and French.
And they needed a plan for what to put online
and how to transform traditional materials.
